YouTube Rolls Out Additional Features to Expand Channel Reach
July 6, 2025
YouTube is now providing creators with additional engagement metrics and enlarging access to its “Most relevant” comment filter. By emphasizing the importance of interacting with viewers—through posts and direct replies—as well as hosting exclusive live-streamed events, the platform aims to strengthen creator–audience relationships.
These enhanced data tools are designed to help creators fine-tune their strategies, ensuring they’re focusing on metrics that align with their goals.
Today, YouTube is rolling out its revamped audience insights to all creators worldwide. At the same time, the “Most relevant” comment filter—designed to surface viewer questions or engagement opportunities—is being made broadly available.
Additionally, YouTube is expanding its live-stream leaderboard that showcases the most active viewers in each stream. In the U.S., Premium members are also getting access to new AI-powered discovery tools, which offer auto-generated context for specific searches.
For example, when Premium users search for shopping-related terms or location-based queries, they’ll see a video carousel with short topic summaries. This feature helps viewers quickly find relevant content and gives creators extra visibility.
Both the comment filter and AI discovery features were initially introduced recently, and are now being launched more widely across the platform.
